1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Prep For Interview ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Prep For Interview ("we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance.

2. Description of Service

Prep For Interview is an AI-powered mock interview practice platform. The Service allows users to conduct simulated job interviews with an AI interviewer, receive transcribed responses, obtain AI-generated feedback on their answers, and review past session history. The Service is provided via a web application hosted at prepforinterview.com.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password, or by authenticating via a supported third-party provider (e.g., Google). You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. Accounts may not be transferred to another person without our written consent.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly on the anniversary of your upgrade date. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Session Allocation

Your monthly session allocation resets on the first day of each billing cycle. Unused sessions do not roll over to the following month. Each redo of a session counts as one session from your monthly allocation.

Refund Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds once a billing cycle has started. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will retain access to paid features until that date.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
• Use the Service to train competing AI models or products
• Share your account credentials with others or create accounts on behalf of others
• Circumvent session limits or billing controls

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for any violation of this section.

6. Intellectual Property

All software, design, text, graphics, and other content that forms the Service (excluding your own data) is owned by or licensed to Prep For Interview and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial interview practice.

You retain ownership of any content you upload, including your resumé. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The interview questions, coaching notes, and feedback provided by the Service are generated by AI models and are intended solely as practice tools. They do not constitute professional career advice, legal advice, or guarantees of interview or employment outcomes. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific situation. You should exercise independent judgment when acting on any AI-generated feedback.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Account settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Prep For Interview shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or via an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
